VHP organizes ‘Palaki’ of Sree Rama and Ramayana

Jalgaon (Maharashtra): As a mark of protest to the demolition of ‘Ram-setu’ started by the Central Government, Vishwa Hindu Parishada (VHP) took out a procession of an idol of Sree Rama and ‘Ramayana’, the Holy Scripture. Shri. Sunil Saraf, Shri. Kishore Apate, Shri. Datta Deshpande, Shri. Vijay Sharma, leaders of VHP, Shri. Mangesh Maharaj of Sree Rama Sansthan, Shri. Mukund Dharmadhikari, keertankar and members of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Sanatan Sanstha participated in the procession along with 300 devout Hindus. The procession started by performing puja of the idol at Sree Rama Mandir which is also the ‘Gram-devata’ of Jalgaon. Shri. Mukund Dharmadhikari presented in his speech, the objective of the procession before the participants. He said that there are many evidences which can prove that the ‘setu’ was built by Sree Rama. Scientists have also explained the importance of the ‘setu’. Still the Central Government is all set to demolish the ‘setu’. The procession was taken out to protest this act of the Government. The procession ended at Dakshin-mukhi Hanuman temple.
