HJS once again submits representation to Police Commissioner to stop denigration of Hindu Deities and great national leaders, taking place through crackers !

Solapur (Maharashtra) – Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) once again submitted representation to Police Commissioner Pradip Rasakar for prevention of denigration of Hindu Deities and great national leaders, taking place through pictures printed on crackers. Hindus are strongly expressing their anger over indifference shown by police and administration. Similar representation was submitted even on 8th October to Police Commissioner and District Collector; but no action seems to have been taken by either of them.  On receiving the representation for the second time, Pradip Rasakar said that earlier representation’s copy was sent to all police stations in the district and action would be taken against sellers of such crackers.

In few cities, HJS activists have had to force police to take action against sellers of crackers. It is unfortunate that despite HJS submitting such representations every year to elected representatives and State Administration, same malpractices are still going on.

Karad – Crackers, burst during Diwali festival or on other occasions, have pictures of Hindu Deities and great national leaders printed over their coverings which cause denigration. A representation was submitted by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to Nayab Tehsildar Shri. B. M. Gaikwad; demanding to prevent such denigration and stop manufacture and sale of these crackers. Similar representations were also submitted to senior Police Inspector, Shri. B. R. Patil of Karad city and to Karad taluka police. Shri. Lakshman Pawar and Shri. Chintamani Parakhe, activists of HJS; Sou. Neela Desai of Sanatan Sanstha and BJP’s Shri. Ganesh Kapase were present on the occasion. It is stated in the representation that the Government has not been taking necessary steps to stop manufacture of these crackers despite submitting representations on number of occasions. As a result, Hindus have to see denigration of pictures of Deities and national leaders revered by them even though it leads to hurting their religious sentiments. The Government should, therefore, immediately impose ban on manufacture and sale of such crackers.

Representation submitted to Dy. District Collector and SP for prevention of denigration through crackers !

Nandurbar (Maharashtra) – With such high inflation rate, buying crackers is like burning money to ashes; besides pollution created due to them is harmful for health. Hindus should now seriously think whether to squander money on bursting crackers as it also leads to denigration of Deities and national leaders revered by us because of their pictures printed on crackers coverings. Such pictures should not be printed on crackers was the demand made by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) through a representation submitted to Shri. Nilesh Sagar, Dy. district Collector and Superintendent of Police (SP) M. Ramkumar. The representation was given by a delegation comprising of HJS activists viz. Dr. Narendra Patil, Dr. Satish Bagul, Shri. Rahul Marathe, Shri. Akash Gawit, Shri. Yogesh Chaudhary, Shri. Ranajit Rajput and Shri. Vikram Patil.

Stop sale of destructive crackers and implement law banning cow-slaughter ! – Demands by HJS

Pune – Crackers are burst during Diwali festival causing lot of noise and air pollution. Also, many times, we find pictures of Deities and great national leaders printed on the covering of crackers which causes denigration of seats of worship. A representation to the above effect was submitted by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to resident Dy. District Collector of Pune, Shri. Suresh Jadhav. The activists present on the occasion were Shri. Arun saraf, Shri. Jayawant Lakhamare, Shri. Vijay Pawar and Shri. Sandip Argade.

The other demands made through the representation were ‘Consumption of beef should be treated as national and religious offence; sale and import of cows should be made as a punishable offence; all slaughter-houses should be closed down; ‘Gou-shalas’ should be given grants with provision made for it in budget’.
