Grand welcome of ‘Shiva-jyot’

Bhor (Maharashtra): Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) welcomed the ‘Shiva-jyot’ that was carried from Solapur to Raigad on the occasion of a function to celebrate coronation of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. On 28 th June, Shiva-jayanti, i.e. the birth anniversary of Shivaji Maharaj will be celebrated on Fort Raigad. On this occasion, the committee formed at Solapur to celebrate coronation of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj lighted a flame at Tulajabhavani Temple at Tulzapur which is being taken to Raigad.

In this running ‘Shiva-jyot’ ‘parikrama (circumambulation)’, 200 youth took part. The ‘Jyot’ arrived at Bhor in the morning with members raising slogans of ‘Jai Bhavani, Jai Shivaji’. Prof. Vitthal Jadhav of HJS and Shri Vinayak kaka Sanas welcomed the youth members accompanying the ‘Shiva-jyot’. Shri. Raju Shelake welcomed the procession on behalf of ‘Raireshwar Pratishthan’. Shri. Amit Kothavale of ‘Hindavi Swaraj Pratishthan’, SK Group and many Shivaji Maharaj devotees were present on the occasion.
