Pune: At the behest of Hindu Janajagruti Smaiti (HJS), a complaint was lodged by devout Hindus against a Marathi play ‘Yada Kadachit’. The play has dialogues making mockery of Hindu deities and there is also denigration of deities. Police have taken note of the complaint and has issued a notice to Shri. Such dialogues, incidents and gestures involve mockery of Hindu deities and have hurt feelings of Hindus. The play is not presented as per the approved script. The Notice further says that no unnecessary dialogues or gestures should be added that will hurt religious feelings of people; else legal action will be taken against the play.
