School threatens to register a lawsuit against X account that circulated the video

Jalna, Maharashtra – A video of the annual social gathering programme of ‘Kids World English School’, located in Partur town of Jalna district, has been circulated on social media. In it, the school students are seen performing a dance with dummy swords to the Pakistani Islamic song ‘Gustakh-e-Nabi ki ek hi saza, sar tan se juda, sar tan se juda’ (There is only one punishment for insulting the Prophet- decapitation). Along with this, a picture of Pakistani terrorist Mumtaz Qadri is clearly visible in the background of the stage. This song incites the beheading of any individual accused of blasphemy against Prophet Muhammad. This incident took place in February 2025, and the matter came to light after the related video was recently circulated by a staunch nationalist ‘X’ account named ‘Treene’.

At this time, when asked for the school management’s contact number, it was told that the President, Tariq Siddiqui, has suffered a paralytic stroke. Contact could not be established with the Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Rameshwar Renge, regarding this matter.
Tariq Siddiqui is a leader of the Congress party. In this matter, ‘X’ users have demanded an investigation from the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights, the Maharashtra Director General of Police, and the Jalna Superintendent of Police, and requested appropriate action if any illegality is found.
Jalna’s Additional Superintendent of Police, Vikram Sali, said that the investigation has just begun. A report will be issued shortly and further action will be taken.
- Making school children glorify radical extremism and a convicted Pakistani terrorist on stage through inflammatory songs raises grave questions about the poisonous values being instilled in young minds by this institution.
- The Government and Police must thoroughly investigate the school’s role and take strict and immediate action against its management for such radical conduct.
School registered under CBSE curriculum
Notably, this school, ‘Kids World English School’ in Partur, is registered under the CBSE curriculum, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Central Government.
School management threatens to register a lawsuit against ‘Treene’ X account
In this matter, the school management stated that the responsibility for the ‘LED screen’ and the visual arrangements of the stage at the time of the programme had been assigned to a contractor. The school did not have direct control over the visuals shown on the stage. Those visuals were from a Turkish serial named ‘Ertugrul’.
Because ‘Treene’ circulated this video, the school management threatened to register a lawsuit against Treene. On this, ‘Treene’ stated that after they circulated this video, the school began facing heavy opposition from society. Consequently, the school not only removed the dance video from their YouTube account but also deleted their YouTube channel altogether. “We are receiving threats of lawsuits being registered against us; however, since this is a true incident, we will not remove the video.”
Who is terrorist Mumtaz Qadri?
In the year 2011, Mumtaz Qadri assassinated the Governor of Pakistan’s Punjab province, Salman Taseer, by shooting him 27 times with an AK-47 rifle. The court in Pakistan found him guilty and hanged him in the year 2016. Despite this, certain radical groups in Pakistan still glorify him. More than 500 Islamic clerics had supported the assassination of Taseer.
