  • Memorandum addressed to the CM, demanding implementation of an Anti–Love jihad Law in Maharashtra, submitted.

  • Participation from over 35 Hindu organisations

Jalgaon (Maharashtra): Love jihad is not merely an individual offence, but an ideological war. Thousands of young women in Maharashtra have already fallen victim to this jihadist conspiracy. To ensure the safety and protection of Hindu daughters, more than 35 organisations from Jalgaon have demanded the implementation of a stringent Anti–Love jihad law in the forthcoming Winter Assembly Session. A memorandum addressed to Chief Minister Shri. Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Shri. Eknath Shinde was submitted to the Jalgaon District Collector. A large number of devout Hindus were present on this occasion.

  • A special police wing should be established to investigate such cases, and love jihad offences should be recorded in a separate legal category.
  • Investigation should be conducted into foreign funding, bank accounts, human trafficking, and links to terrorism in love jihad cases, and strict action must be taken against the guilty.
  • Individuals, jihadist organisations, religious leaders (maulanas, mullahs), and madrasas or mosques involved in forced religious conversions, assistance or encouragement to love jihad should be legally penalised and, wherever necessary, banned.
