Kolkata (Bengal) – Vimal Jaiswal, a devout Hindu, found that during Ganesh Chaturthi, an advertisement by the ‘AdOnMo’ showed Shri Ganesh wearing a shirt and pants and holding a laptop in his hand on a television set installed next to the elevator in the building where he lives. When he realized that it was wrong to show Shri Ganesh in this way, he immediately posted about it on X. He also informed the ‘Surajya Abhiyan’ of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. After this story was widely circulated on social media, it reached the concerned company. The company has replied to Jaiswal’s post as, ‘We are taking action against the concerned official who made this advertisement’.
Jaiswal later realized that the denigratory image had been removed from the company’s advertisement. Thus, Vimal Jaiswal, an alert Hindu, could stop the denigration of Shri Ganesh during the Ganeshotsav period by taking immediate action against the denigration.
Immediately after learning about the denigration, I brought the incident to light : Vimal Jaiswal

Talking to ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ in this regard, Jaiswal said, “During the Ganesh festival period, some questions were being asked by a company called ‘AdOnMo’ regarding Shri Ganesh and in their advertisement, Shri Ganesh was shown wearing a suit and shoes. I realized that it was wrong to show the Hindu Deity in this way and I spoke out about the incident.”
Jaiswal’s efforts are commendable and inspiring to others : Shambhu Gaware, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti

Regarding this incident, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s East and North-East India State Coordinator Shambhu Gaware told ‘Sanatan Prabhat’, “Vimal Jaiswal is the Bengal co-coordinator of the Hindu Rashtra Coordination Committee. The awareness and promptness with which he tried to stop the mockery of Shri Ganesh is commendable and inspiring to others. It is rare to think of taking such action in Bengal, and the religious service done by Jaiswal should be emulated by others. ‘Adonmo’ also took prompt action while respecting the religious sentiments of Hindus. For this, I also congratulate and thank them on behalf of the Samiti.”
