An unauthorised Islamic University in Tirupati, launched by a strange woman in the temple land, siphoning off of rare and exquisite jewellery belonging to the Lord are some of the reasons behind indignation

Lord Venkateswara, the presiding deity of Tirumala in Tirupati, is disgusted and indignant over the goings on in the holy shrine. An unauthorised Islamic University in Tirupati, launched by a strange woman in the temple land and siphoning off of rare and exquisite jewellery belonging to the Lord are some of the reasons behind this indignation, according to the findings from an Ashta Mangala Prasna held by Parappanangadi Unnikrishna Panicker, renowned Thantric scholar and astrologer.

According to the Prasna, the Islamic University being set up at Tirupati could spell doom to the Seven Hills, the region housing the holy shrine. “This Islamic University will destroy the sacredness of Tirupati”, said Panicker while explaining the observations made out of the Prasna.

The Prasna was held as per the Vedic Astrology guidelines to delineate details pertaining to the temple. The prasna revealed that Lord Venkateswara is in the grip of corrupt people who are ignorant about the sacredness of the Tirumala Tirupati Temples.

“Planets Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn , Venus and Mars were found to be in unfavourable and inauspicious positions. The divinity of the deity is complete only if the auspicious planets are in favourable positions. This indicates that the Lord is annoyed and angry over the goings on”, said the note prepared after the Prasna, a copy of which is with The Pioneer.

Islamic University is being built on land belonging to Tirupati temple

Panicker, whose clientele include heads of States, scientists and  corporate honchos extending from capitalist United States to communist Vietnam, elucidated from the Prasna that the Islamic University is being built on land belonging to  a temple. “The position of planet Mercury indicates education and training centres being set up by members of other religion and that too in the temple land. This has led to depletion of sanctity of the Seven Hills”, said Panicker.

The Pioneer had reported last year that the Islamic University was being set up on the premises of a temple built by the grandson of Sage Annamacharya in 1542. “The temple was destroyed by Hyder Ali in 1782. How the land reached the hands of the Islamic University owners is shrouded in mystery”, said Sorakayala Krishna Reddy, historian and chronicler of the Seven Hills.

Panicker said the sanctity of the Seven Hills appears to have been desecrated by the setting up of a place of training by people belonging to other religion within the boundaries of the holy premises of Lord Venkataeswara. “There is bound to be contradictions between the resounding resonance of the Vedas in the temple and the loud noise of the sound of prayers through noisy loud speakers from members of other religions. This will create negative energy,” he said .

The position of planets Saturn, Mercury and Venus gives out the message that Tirupati should be declared as a Holy City where no undesirable activities like entry of other religions, consumption of alcohol, meat and immoral activities would be ever permitted. “Every citizen has his/her right to worship but as far as Tirupati is concerned such practices can be outside the precincts of this Holy City”, said Panicker.

He suggested only devotees who are well versed in Hindu philosophy and religion should be appointed to administer and manage the temple. “Incidents like forest fire, death of human beings and animals inside and outside the temple are indications that the Lord is unhappy,” he said.

SV Badri, religious scholar, said many deaths have been reported from the temple precincts. “There were incidents of fire, death of wild animals and many unpleasant events during the last five years. The lady Nowhera Shaikh who is the proprietor of the university is a mysterious character who appeared out of nowhere”, said Badri. Though the Tirupati district administration asked the University authorities to demolish the six floors of the seven storeyed building, which was constructed violating all rules in the book, the order has been stayed by a local court.
