Resolution passed unanimously in the first ever ‘Maharashtra Mandir Nyas Adhiveshan’ organised in the district

Nandurbar – The Maharashtra Mandir Nyas Adhiveshan (Temple trust convention) was organised for the first time in Nandurbar district. This convention addressed issues such as maintaining the sanctity of temples, making temples centers of Dharmik education, prohibiting entry of non-Hindus into temples for business, ensuring management of temples lies in the hands of devotees and not the government, and unity of various temples. The participating temples unanimously decided to implement a dress code in the temples. The convention was organised at the Shri Dandpaneshwar Temple here in the joint auspices of Maharashtra Mandir Mahasangh, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Shri Dandpaneshwar Sansthan.
The convention was attended by more than 150 trustees, archaks, purohits, and sevadars from over 90 temples from 6 talukas of the district, as well as from Sakri and Shindkheda (Dondaicha) in Dhule district.
The convention began with the lighting of the lamp by H.B.P. Khagendra Buwa Maharaj, Mr Neelkanth Chaudhary (Secretary of the ancient Satpuda Niwasini Shri Manudevi Sansthan in Jalgaon), Mr Kishor Vani (President of Shri Dandpaneshwar Devasthan), and Mr Prashant Juvekar (North Maharashtra Sevak, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti).
Mr Kishor Vani shared the intent and purpose of the convention, while H.B.P. Khagendra Buwa Maharaj guided the attendees on the need to preserve and promote temple culture. Mr Neelkanth Chaudhary, Jalgaon District Coordinator of the Mandir Mahasangh, apprised the attendess about the Maharashtra Mandir Mahasangh’s mission. Mr Uday Badgujar of Sanatan Sanstha spoke on the need to make temples centers of Dharmik education.
Gadipati H.B.P. Uddhav Maharaj from Kukarmunda blessed the convention, while Mr Prashant Juvekar spoke on the need to prohibit non-Hindus from conducting business in temples and Hindu pilgrimage sites. A discussion was held on implementing dress code. Prof. Ganesh Sonawane, trustee of Shri Mhalsadevi Temple in Shahada, advocate Anil Lodha and Prof. Dr Satish Bagul shared their views.
The convention was compered by Ms. Sayali Patil of the Ranragini wing of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. Shri. Anand Marathe, Gosevak and trustee of Shri Dubkeshwar Mahadev Temple blew the conch. The resolutions were read out by Mr Jitendra Marathe of the Samiti. Prof. Dr. Satish Bagul of the Samiti read the acknowledgements. The convention concluded with recitation of the pasaydan by Sunita Chavan, founder of Chhaya Sangeet Sadhana Music School.
The convention concluded with plans to hold regular taluka level meetings and conduct a convention in Dhule district.
