Meeting for temple trustees and priests receives great response

Nashik – As per the resolution passed in the third state level temple conference of Maharashtra Mandir Mahasangh in Shirdi, a meeting of temple trustees and priests was held in Nashik city. Mr Pradeep Deshmukh of the Samiti spoke about the need and purpose of the meeting. Nashik District Co-Convenor Mr Dinesh Muthe spoke in detail about the resolutions passed in the 3 temple conferences organised by the Mandir Mahasangh, as well as the success achieved thereafter and the further direction. A total of 27 temple trustees and priests were present.
It was unanimously agreed to submit a statement for an ‘Anti Land Grabbing’ law to be enacted, to introduce a dress code in temples, to start weekly Maha Aarti, and to hold monthly meetings.
