Pusad (Yavatmal): Like terrorism, urban Naxalism has now started to take root in the cities. According to government statistics, 2 thousand 199 innocent people and 1 thousand 342 security personnel have been killed by Naxals over the last 10 years. These urban naxalites speak out against soldiers and police. They don the garb of humanists, environmentalists, writers, thinkers, journalists, historians, anti-superstition activists. It is serious that these highly educated people are indulging in anti-national activities. We should all be aware that this Naxalism is dangerous to the country, said Mr Sunil Ghanwat of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. He was addressing a Hindu Rashtra-Jagruti Sabha here. The sabha started with blowing of the conch, recitation of Vedmantras, and lighting of the lamp.

Ms Pratishka Korgaonkar (HJS Ranragini Wing) provided guidance on the ‘Need to awaken valour in women’, while Sadguru Swati Khadaye (Sanatan Sanstha Dharmapracharak) spoke on ‘Superiority of Hindu Dharma and Importance of abiding by Dharma’.

The sabha was blessed with the auspicious presence of Kirtankar H.B.P. Baban Maharaj Chatarikar, H.B.P. Bharat Maharaj Ghogre, H.B.P. Doctor Pathade, H.B.P. Girish Maharaj Joshi, H.B.P. Sadashiv Dengale Maharaj, H.B.P. Mukund Guru Kalse, H.B.P. Yogananda Maharaj, H.B.P. Ganesh Dharmale from the Warkari sect, Vivek Kanthe of Purohit Sangh, Nitin Pandey of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, H.H. Babusingh Maharaj Kakadati, and H.H. Ashok Patrikar (of Sanatan Sanstha).
