Satara – Many temples in Maharashtra have been taken over by the government. This has given rise of issues regarding sanctity, dress code, donations etc. in the temple. It is every Hindu’s duty to preserve the sanctity of temples. Temples are centers of energy and Chaitanya for Hindus. Maharashtra Mandir Mahasangh is putting in sincere efforts to stop embezzlement in temples. We have also actively participated in their mission. There are 3 thousand 716 revenue villages in Satara district and each village has at least one big temple. We will contact each and every temple and request them to implement a dress code in order to maintain the sactity, said Mr Prashant Tupe, the Secretary of Panchpali Haud Durgamata Temple Trust. He was speaking at the ‘Hindu Rashtra Sammelan’ organised by the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti in the Shri Nataraja temple auditorium here. Other speakers gave extensive guidance on the need of Hindu Rashtra, Wakf Board, Land Jihad, conspiracy to divide India, narratives, forthcoming adverse period, importance of Indian temples, maintaining sanctity of temples, dress code for temples, etc. Many devout Hindus of the district participated in this program.

The Sammelan began with the lighting of the lamp by H.H. Rajendra Panchal (founder president of Mahant Abanandagiri Maharaj Charitable Trust); H.H. Mrs Kavita Panchal; Mr Madhav Jadhav (News Editor of Daily ‘Sanjwat’); and Mr Rajan Bunage (Solapur District Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti). Mr Balkrishna Nikam blew the conch. A message from Sachchidananda Parabrahman Dr Athavale (Source of Inspiration for the HJS) to the Hindu Rashtra Sammelan was also read out during the inaugural session.
