We congratulate honourable Yogi Adityanath for taking steps to ban halal products in the State ! – HJS

Yogi Adityanath, the honourable CM of UP who had earlier set an ideal by enacting a strict law against the menace of ‘Love Jihad’, has now proactively taken concrete steps to foil a nationwide conspiracy called Halal Jihad. A complaint was lodged at the Hazratganj Police Station against the practice of issuing illegal halal certificates so that they could be sold as halal products. CM Yogi Adityanath recognised the implications of such practice and showed a willingness to take bold steps. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti heartily congratulates Yogi Adityanath for safeguarding national interests. Mr Ramesh Shinde, the National Spokesperson for Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, said, “These measures will dry up the funding for the anti-national activities; thus would strengthen national security and help maintain law and order.

Mr Ramesh Shinde highlighted that there are dedicated Government agencies – FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards. Authority of India) and FDA (Food and Drug Administration) to certify food and medical products in India. Despite this, some Islamic organisations have started to issue ‘Halal Certificates’ in secular India. He demanded an outright ban on all such organisations. Mr Ramesh Shinde further said, “Earlier, only halal meat was sold; however, since last few years, this menace of halal jihad has penetrated many industries such as food and processing, medicines, cosmetics, construction and housing (even some malls are halal certified) and tourism. The irony is that to cater to 14% of Muslims in India, halal products get forcibly imposed upon non-muslims (Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists), who comprise 86% of the population. Halal jihad is a serious issue and is tantamount to religious bullying. Over the last many years, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has been spreading awareness about this serious national threat. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has also published a text – ‘Halal Jihad’, and has organised many protest campaigns, thus making the unsuspecting population aware of halal jihad. The Samiti also highlighted the conspiracy to provide financial support for anti-national activities (through the income generated through issuing halal certificates). Hindu Janajagruti Samiti is glad to see Yogi Adityanath in action against halal jihad. Mr Ramesh Shinde added that such a stance is commendable, and the other CMs should follow suit.
