Canacona (Goa) : ‘Hindus, be on the guard, because, enemy may strike not only at night but also during day time. It is impossible to assure protection to the Mother-land, mothers, culture and mother tongue unless ‘Narsimha’ (The one who has the courage like a lion) among Hindus manifests. English language is like ‘Putana maushi’ (A wicked witch who was sent by Kaunsa, Shreekrushna’s maternal uncle, to kill child Shreekrushna), it is not a language which provides knowledge to the learner. Convent schools cannot teach patriotism, for that mother-tongue signifying the importance of mother, cow, culture, is essential while imparting education to children. It is the need of the hour to have Hindus who are devout, duty-bound, particular about their identity’, stated Shri. Anand Mayekar, a literary figure and a devout Hindu while addressing the gathering at the Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), held at Sree Parshuram Sabhamandap, Sree Parshuram Devalay, Painguin, Canacona on 16th February. Shri. Hanumant Parab of Govansh Raksha Abhiyan, Shri. Tulshidas Ganjekar of Sanatan Sanstha and Shri. Govind Chodankar of HJS were present on the dais.

After the blowing of conch shell and the recitation of Ved mantras by Shri. Pavan  Barve and Shri. Rahul Vaze, Sanatan’s seekers from Valpoi, the Dharmajagruti sabha commenced after lighting the auspicious lamp at the hand of Shri. Anand Mayekar. Shri. Pavan  Barve and Shri. Rahul Vaze were felicitated by Kirtankar Nishikant Tengse. The speakers on the dais were felicitated by Devout Hindu from Painguin, Shri. Shubhash Phaldesai, thereafter, devout Hindus Shri. Anil Kamat, Shri. Kashinath Vaze from Canacona were felicitated by Shri. Govind Lolayekar and Kirtankar Nishikant Tengse and Shri. Subhash Phaldesai were felicitated by Shri. Pradip Painguinkar. Shri. Sudhakar Agalave gave information about the mission undertaken by HJS. Later Pro-Hindutva speakers addressed the gathering. Shri. Tulsidas Ganjekar said while speaking about the innocence of Sanatan, conversion and anti-Hindu laws, he said as during Shivaji Maharaj’s regime, horses used to see worriers like Santaji and Dhanaji in the water also when they used to go to drink water. Likewise, anti-Hindu rulers put the blame on staunch Hindutvawadi organisation like Sanatan in any issue, like bomb blast at Madgao or any other. The court has proved innocence of Sanatan in bomb blast case at Madgao. Anti-Hindu rulers should remember that Bhagvan Sreekrushna is supporting Sanatan. While guiding the gathering on protecting Cows from annihilation Shri. Hanumant Parab said that, cows are being slaughtered on a large scale for the sake of minorities, Muslims or Christians. Cows are the national wealth. Presently there is need of voters who love cows and such voters only should elect rulers. While speaking on establishment of a Hindu Rashtra and Hindus participation, Shri. Govind Chodankar said, the coming elections of Loksabha are very important for Hindus. BJP’s, Prime Ministerial candidate Mr. Narendra Modi speaks about development in the country; but he should not delete the point concerning construction of ‘Ram Mandir’. He should declare his strategy regarding the Hindus who have returned to Bharat from Bangladesh and Pakistan due to their torture. Dvelpoment based on Dharma is the real development. Compering and vote of thanks were given by Shri. Abhay Desai and Ms. Aruni Gadekar.
