Demand to file cases against H.H. Appasaheb Dharmadhikari is out of communal hatred: HJS

Will there be a similar demand to file a case against Rahul Gandhi ? – HJS asks communal factions

There is a demand to file a case of culpable homicide against a renowned social reformist H.H. Dr Appasaheb Dharmadhikari, in connection with the incident at Kharghar, but did those, who are making such demand now, demand filing of a culpable homicide case against the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi when during his ‘Bharat-Jodo Yatra’, many people died, including Congress MP Santosh Singh Chaudhari from Punjab, Congress Seva Dal’s General Secretary in Maharashtra, Krishna Kant Pande, etc., asked Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) claiming that such demand was made only out of communal hatred.

14 ‘Shri-sevaks’ lost their lives in the mishap at Kharghar; therefore, a few activists of Sambhaji Brigade and so-called historians have demanded filing a case of culpable homicide against H.H. Dr Appasaheb Dharmadhikari, a senior renowned social reformist. HJS strongly condemns such a demand. The background of these organisations, which are looking at every incident for obtaining political gains and communal hatred, has always been controversial. Recently, a woman activist of one party died of a heart attack during agitations staged by one political party at Thane. Moreover, such unfortunate incidents do occur during agitations staged by or programmes organised by many political parties, but such a demand is never made; however, a spiritual organisation engaged in great service to mankind is targeted by demanding arrests of the chief of the organisation which is communal hatred. H.H. Dharmadhikari has expressed grief over the incident of Kharghar. The State Government has also initiated different ways to avoid the recurrence of similar incidents. The Government has even appointed an inquiry committee to investigate this case. HJS, therefore, feels that instead of accusing each other, taking initiative in offering help positively, is the need of the hour.
