Cleanliness drive on Sinhagad by HJS and Sinhagad College of Pharmacy

Pune – Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and fans of Shivaji Maharaj from the Sinhagad College of Pharmacy held a cleanliness drive at Sinhagad on 1st April 2023. The cleanliness drive was to clean up Kondhaneshwar temple, Dev Tak, Amriteshwar temple, the Kalyan Darwaja embankment, the elephant pond, and the memorial of Narveer Tanaji Malusare. The volunteers cleared up plastic bags, liquor bottles, garbage from the well, and grass from the fortification wall. Krishna Patil of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and activists led the drive.

Swapnil Bhosale, Prathamesh Dhumal, and Prateek Saravede from the fort supported the cleanliness drive. Students of Sinhagad College of Pharmacy Pranjali Bhande, Siddhant Khairnar, and Shivraj Patil, along with all the enthusiastic activists shared with the tourists the importance of keeping the forts clean and tidy. The visiting tourists, small traders, and fans of Shivaji Maharaj appreciated the activity. Some of them participated in the cleanliness drive.
