Hindu Janajagriti Samiti’s ‘gada pujan’ campaign on Hanuman Jayanti

Across the ages, Shri Hanuman’s gada (mace) has been the eternal symbol of his unmatched valour. With this gada, Shri Hanuman destroyed powerful demons and played a pivotal role in establishing Ram Rajya. Even during the Mahabharata war, Hanuman subtly sat on Arjuna’s chariot and helped the Pandavas secure victory.

Samarth Ramdas Swami installed 11 Marutis (Hanuman temples) and inspired the people to worship strength itself, thereby empowering Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s sacred mission of establishing Hindavi Swarajya.

Today, once again, we need the blessings and divine strength of Shri Hanuman to establish Ram Rajya. With this very purpose, Hindu Janajagriti Samiti (HJS) is organising ‘gada pujan’ programmes at various places on the occasion of Shri Hanuman Jayanti.

We pray at the lotus feet of Shri Hanuman – May this gada pujan awaken the dormant valour within us and grant immense strength to the mission of establishing a Hindu Rashtra.

Organise ‘gada pujan’ in your respective localities

Hindu Janajagriti Samiti appeals to all Hindus to organise ‘gada pujan’ in their respective localities on the occasion of Shri Hanuman Jayanti (2 April 2026).

Every Hindu devotee is called upon to rise and conduct gada pujan with full vigour in his own locality, so that the divine energy of Shri Hanuman may awaken the spirit of valour across our society.

‘Gada-pujan’ is necessary to awaken valour in Hindus: Ramesh Shinde, national spokesperson, HJS

April 7, 2023

‘Gada-pujan’ held at 800 places on the occasion of Shri hanuman Jayanti to get force for establishment of Hindu Rashtra

Hindus’ history is full of bravery and valour. For many years, they had to fight for the freedom of this country, and it was an armed fight. It was, however, tried to impress upon Hindus that India got freedom very easily, without the use of arms, through songs like ‘De dee hame azadi bina khadga bina dhal….’, etc. Hindus’ future generations were even kept away from the true brave history. In the last 75 years, we haven’t seen any programmes held to awaken the valour amongst Hindus. In this background, therefore, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and other like-minded organisations held ‘Gada-pujan’ at 800 places across the country on the occasion of Shri Hanuman Jayanti, to awaken bravery amongst Hindus and to get strength for the mission of establishing ‘Rama-Rajya’, i.e., Hindu Rashtra seeking the grace of Prabhu Shriram.

The programme started with blowing of conch, followed by collective prayers, the ‘Gada-pujan’ ritual, and the recitation of ‘aarti’ and ‘strotra’ of Shri Hanuman. ‘Shri Hanumate Namah’ was the chanting done collectively. There was also a lecture on the topic ‘How to inculcate qualities of Marutiraya for establishing Dharma’. The programme ended with taking an oath of establishing Hindu Rashtra.

Every Deity worshipped by Hindus is seen with one hand bestowing grace and the other hands holding different weapons. Worshipping Deities, keeping this in mind, will help to awaken valour amongst Hindus. This year, Shriram Navami processions were severely attacked in many States in the country. Hindus are targeted and demoralized. Let this ‘Gada-pujan’ help in once again giving strength to Hindus; the valour in Hindus be blazing all the time. Hence, symbolic ‘shastra-pujan’ should be done on the occasion of every festival of Hindus, stated Mr Ramesh Shinde, the national spokesperson of HJS while expressing his views.

The ‘Gada-pujan’ was performed even at 11 places consecrated by Samarth Ramadas Swami, besides, Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, Pune, Satara, Solapur, Kolhapur, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurga, Sambhajinagar, Nashik, Dhule, Jalgaon, Nagpur, Amaravati in Maharashtra; so also, at Bagalkot, Dharwad, Shivamogga, Udupi, South Canara, Mysore, Tumkur, Bengaluru and Belagavi in Karnataka; at Ponda and Sakhali in Goa; at Mathura in Uttar Pradesh; Delhi, Jharkhand and Rajasthan. The ‘Gada-pujan’ was held with a lot of enthusiasm at these places. At many places, Saints attended these programmes and graced and blessed the occasion, along with office bearers of different pro-Hindu organisations and many youths.
