Demonstrations held to protest against Islamic University coming up at Tirupati

Bhuvaneshwar (Odisha) : Sri Tirupati Devasthan is a famous religious place of Hindus in Andhra Pradesh; but at Chandragiri which is only 13 kms from this place, illegal construction of ‘Heera International Islamic University’ is going on. The construction should be immediately stopped so as to avoid future conflicts and persons responsible for such illegal construction and extending financial aid should be interrogated and action should be taken against them. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and other devout Hindus held demonstrations near entrance of Sriram Mandir for the above demands. Posters, cloth banners were displayed by demonstrators creating awareness towards the issue of illegal construction of Islamic University, about Hindu unification; besides raising slogans to register protest.
