HJS conducts ‘Halalmukt Bharat’ campaign in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar

Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) – The 30 people who are accused of the deadly Akshardham temple attacks in Gujarat were sentenced to death. The Islamic organization Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind is providing legal assistance to those accused. If Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind is a trust, then how is the benefit obtained by way of Halal certifications constitutional? If Halal certification can be banned in Sri Lanka, why not in India? Halal certification is a conspiracy to make India an Islamic nation. All patriots need to unite against this, asserted Mr. Ramesh Shinde, National Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. HJS is currently undertaking a ‘Halalmukt Bharat’ campaign in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Mr. Shinde was addressing one such programme.

Various programmes were organized under the ‘Halalmukt Bharat’ campaign Varanasi, Bhadohi, Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Lakshmanpuri (Lucknow), Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh, as well as Pataliputra (Patna) and Bhojpur in Bihar. These programmes have been by organised in collaboration with Jan Udghosh Seva Sansthan, Hindu Jan Seva Samiti, Lok Bharti, Akhil Bharatiya Sanatan Samiti, Uttar Pradesh Medical Association, Pawansoot Sarvangin Vikas Kendra, Varanasi Vyapaar Mandal, World Hindu Federation and Advocates Council.

Will put up a legal fight against Halal certification! – Hindu advocates

Under this campaign, meetings were organized with devout Hindu advocates in Varanasi, Bhadohi, Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Lakshmanpuri (Lucknow), Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh and Pataliputra in Bihar. Many advocates expressed their intent to ‘send a letter to the Prime Minister’s Office against the Halal certificate and demand its removal’.

Will boycott Halal certified products and inspire others too! – Youth from Kashi Hindu University

The youth of Kashi Hindu University were of the opinion that Halal certification is a conspiracy to push Hindu youth into unemployment. They called for a boycott of Halal certified products, and also pledged t0 inspire all the students to do so.

Will educate Hindu traders about Halal certification! – Unanimous resolution of trade bodies

Members of Varanasi Chamber of Commerce, as well as many merchants from Bhadohi, Pratapgad, Lakshmanpuri were present at the event. The merchants were unanimous in their resolved to educate all Hindu traders on how the Halal certification is anti-India, and unitedly oppose it.

Will expose the Halal certificate conspiracy through media! – Journalists from Kanpur and Patna

Editor of ‘Shashwat Times’ in Kanpur Mr. Manoj Dixit, and Advocate Rakesh Dutt Mishra, Editor of ‘Divya Rashmi Patrike’ in Patliputra organized a meeting with journalists brethren. Many journalists assured that they will ‘lay the conspiracy of Halal certification bare before the society through their newspapers’.

1. Many attendees expressed the opinion that the issue is very grave and that no one had raised it till date. They also praised the Samiti’s campaign as the need of the hour.

2. Many attendees invited the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti to hold similar programmes in their area.

3. Devout Hindus who had assembled for the programme arranged by ‘Lok Bharati’, pledged to meet the Chief Minister to enact a law to ban Halal certification in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
