HJS starts chain fast against anti-Hindu Bills!

Mumbai: The anti faith Bill will be discussed again during the ongoing budget session of the state. To protest against this anti faith Bill on a united front the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has started a statewide agitation to reject this Bill. The agitation is getting intense day by day. There is a great possibility that in this present session (carried on under the leadership of the congress govt.) anti faith Bill as well as the ‘temple takeover’ (which will enable the govt. to plunder the property of Hindu temples) will be approved. To oppose this many Hindu organisations, temple trustees, Warkaris and others have started a chain- fast which will continue for about three days, on the dais of HJS. 15 valiant Hindus will participate in this fast.

Hari Bhakt Parayan (HBP) Prakash Bodhle (President of the All India Warkari Mandal) inaugurated this protest. He planned to meet the chief minister of the state and present him the details of the reasons of protest. Dr. Durgesh Samant (National spokesperson HJS) and Shri. Shivaji Vatkar (HJS co-ordinator for Mumbai) were present. Dr. Durgesh Samant (National spokesperson HJS) made it clear that the act is being opposed to give a positive dimension to human race altogether because of tolerance taught in Hindu Dharma it is possible to absorb people of various religions and cultures. Places of worship of different religions prove this fact. From previous experiences it is clear that the govt. is inefficient to manage its responsibilities, so much so that in 1951 gold had to sell in order to pay the due debts. Thus if this secular govt. gets charge of the temples it will result in destruction of property as well as Dharma. This thew whole of human race will be affected by it.

Highlights

1.  A police in civil remarked, “I too feel like participating in this agitation.”
2. The pamphlets distributed were not thrown away by anyone.
3. The discipline seen was remarkable.

(The Hindus opposing this anti faith Bill deserve congratulations. Hindus should always unite to crush such attacks on Hindu Dharma! – Editor)
