Due to the habits instilled by Jijau, young Shivaji became Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. By narrating stories from Ramayana and Mahabharata, Jijau inculcated good culture in Shivaji. Do women practice this nowadays? At present, modernity is being used as an excuse to blindly imitate the West. Women should contribute to nation building by instilling good culture in their children.
