HJS Protests:Demands Hussain’s arrest

Mumbai: News has been published in some of the newspapers that M F Hussain presently staying in Dubai is likely to visit India. Under the name of ‘Modern Art’, Hussain is deliberately drawing pictures of Hindu deities and Bharatmata in nude form. Anti-Hindu and traitor Hussain is presently living in Dubai out of fear. In this background, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) held demonstrations and demanded arrest of Hussain as soon as he lands in India. Over 50 activists from Hindu Janjagruti Samiti protested at Dadar.
 
Demonstrations were held near Swaminarayan Temple in Dadar. Thousands of complaints have already been lodged against Hussain. Mumbai High Court has also issued an order to take action against him. Therefore, Mumbai police should take prompt action without making any allowances for him, is the demand made by HJS. On one hand, police are giving reasons that Hussain cannot be interrogated as he is in Dubai and on the other hand, the ex-Police Commissioner Anami Roy is displaying hoardings, all over the city, of nude Bharatmata drawn by Hussain. HJS has therefore, demanded that police should give up their double standards and take immediate action. About 5000 pamphlets were distributed by the Samiti. A representation will be given to the police in this regard which has already been signed by 2000 proud Hindus.
