Shri Ganesh Idol immersion as per the Shastras in Nipani due to efforts of HJS and other Hindu organisations

Nipani (Karnataka) : The Administration had invited Shri Ganesh devotees to donate their Shri Ganesh idols, under the guise of celebrating ‘environment friendly Ganeshotsav’. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Hindu organisations presented a memorandum to the Municipal administration and the Mayor while opposing this call which goes against the Shaastras. Fortunately due to the memorandum and the efforts of the Hindu organisations, Ganesh devotees immersed their Shri Ganesh idols in water without paying any heed to the ‘donation’ call. Not a single idol was donated in Nipani!
