The campaign was launched by offering coconut and garland of flowers at Shri Parshuram temple in Chiplun (District Ratnagiri). Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj performed Maha Puja to Deity Shri Parashuram before his coronation. Samarth Ramdas Swami built a south-facing Hanuman temple in front of Shri Parashuram temple. The National Spokesperson of the Samiti Mr. Ramesh Shinde has said that. The commencement of various activities of Hindu Rashtra Sankalp Abhiyan at such a pious place can be termed as an auspicious sign.

In the year 2002, a renegade organisation had organised a programme to mock the Hindu Deities. The Hindu organisation that sprung up against this programme has now grown like a banyan tree in 20 years. Due to the continuous awareness for the last 20 years, it seems that Hindus have become active not only in the State, but all over India to prevent the desecration of Hindu places of worship. Various activities are carried out throughout the year on the basis of the five aspects of Education on Dharma, Awareness on Dharma, Hindu Unity, protection of the Nation and Dharma. All this is happening due to God’s grace, blessings of Saints and active participation of devout Hindu devotees, said Mr. Shinde on the occasion.
