Governmentalisation of temples, an expression of hatred!

Chopda (Jalgaon): At a meeting here, Shri. Sudhakar Vagh of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti revealed the plot of the Congress government to plunder the donations of devotees to 4.5 lakhs Hindu temples all over the state, instead of providing security to these places of worship. Held to protest against the government take over of the Sree Rama temple, Shri. Choudhary explained the mission of the HJS and also the purpose of the meeting to the audience.

Shri. Sudhakar Vagh appraised the locals about the proposed law of governmentalisation of Hindu temples by the 15th Law Commission and also about the Blind-faith eradication bill of the Maharashtra government. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Vitthaldasji Gujrathi , trustee of the Balaji temple said that if today Hindus do not fight unitedly, then in the future they will have no standing at all and that governmentalisation of Hindu temples was an expression of hatred for Hindus. He also questioned why Madarsas, Dargahs, Mosques and churches were exempted from governmentalisation. If the law is implemented it should be enforced for all religions, not only Hindus.

The meeting also passed resolutions on creating awareness amongst Hindus through various mediums such as group prayers, protest marches, signature campaigns, corner meetings, pamphlets and posters.
