Ratnagiri: Islamic organisations are creating a parallel economy through ‘halal’ certification challenging our national economy. It is very dangerous for security of the country. There is no clear reference to ‘halal’ economy in Quran. There are authorised government organisations like FSSAI and FDA for issuing relevant certificates; therefore, taking money for ‘halal’ certification is against secularism and injustice to the businessmen from the majority community so also Hindu butcher community who have been in this business for many generations, stated Mr Manoj Khadye, the coordinator of HJS for west Maharashtra, Konkan, Goa, and Gujarat; in his address at one-day regional Hindu Convention held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on the 3rd of April 2022 at Amber Hall in the city for Ratnagiri and Sindhudurga Districts. The stage was shared by Sadguru Satyawan Kadam, H. B. P Kishore Maharaj Chaugule from Dapoli, besides Manoj Khadye.

The Convention was started with recitation of ‘Veda-mantras’ by the priests Prasad Sahastrabuddhe and Mayur Joshi. A message, on the occasion of the Convention, sent by ‘Paratpar Guru’ Dr. Jayant Balaji Athavale who is the inspiration behind HJS, was read out by Sadguru Satyawan Kadam. Mr Vinod Gadikar of HJS explained the purpose of holding such a Convention. It was compeered by Ms Krupali Bhuvad and Ms Narayani Shahane. Devout Hindu activists from Ratnagiri and Sindhudurga districts had participated in this regional Hindu Convention.

Manoj Khadye said further that it was a breach of article 46 of the Constitution under which interests of businessmen from majority population and Hindu butcher community who are in business for many generations are protected. The secularists are always making noise about the freedom given by the Constitution, but in secular Indian Government’s Indian Tourism Corporation, Air India, Railway catering etc. give contracts only to those providing ‘halal’ meat. The catering service at the highest seat of Indian democracy i.e. the Parliament is provided by Railways where majority Hindus have no freedom to eat meat as per their religious beliefs. Hindus should take such government organisations to task and boycott the food till the food as per their religious beliefs was not served to them.

A person, who puts into practice what he learns, is a true learner !- Sadguru Satyawan Kadam

This is a twilight period. The spiritual practice performed during the twilight period has many-fold benefits. Bhagavan has promised His devotees that they would never perish. Bhagavan protects His devotees; therefore, we have to become His devotees. Bhagavan manifested as Narasimha only for one devotee like Prahlad. This is the power of devotion. Everyone has been inspired and feeling enthusiastic through the inspiration received in the regional Hindu Convention. Many things were learnt here. Let us try to put into practice what we have learnt because that would be like a true learner.

Such convention should be held at taluka level – H. B. P. Nandkumar Kalekar Maharaj, Dapoli

We all have participated in a sacred and unique mission. Everyone was feeling internally awakened about Hindu Dharma. Such Conventions should be held at taluka-levels so that the subject would spread widely. Till every Hindu doesn’t come to know this matter, it is impossible to think of a spiritual revolution.
