HJS requests inclusion of certain social issues in Budget Session

Hindu Janajagruti Samiti submits memorandum to the people’s representatives to take up the issues of ‘Encroachments on forts’, ‘Medical Establishment Act’ and ‘Unauthorized naming of Malvani Sports Complex in Mumbai’ in the budget session of the Legislature.

Mumbai : Various issues are being discussed in the Budget session that started on March 3rd, 2022. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) delegates met some of the ruling party and opposition MLAs and discussed some important issues pertaining to Maharashtra.

These include the encroachment on forts in Maharashtra; the unofficial renaming a sports complex at Malvani, Mumbai in the name of Tipu Sultan the tyrant; and the implementation of the Medical Establishment Act by the Center. The people’s representatives were requested to discuss these issues as a matter of priority.

Memorandums were submitted to Shiv Sena MLA Dilip Lande, MLA Prakash Fatarpekar, MLA Mangesh Kudalkar, MLA Sada Sarvankar, MLA Ajay Chaudhary, MLA Dattaji Pongade, as well as BJP MLA Ram Kadam, MLA Capt. R. Tamil Selvan and MLA Kalidas Kolambakar. The MLAs evinced positive interest in taking up these issues.
