Kumbh Mela : Visit and blessings by Saints and Sages to the exhibition of Holy texts and pictures

Prayagaraj (Uttar Pradesh) : Various Saints and Sages visited, throughout the day, the exhibition of Holy texts and educative pictures organised by Sanatan Sanstha and HJS in Kumbh Mela and bestowed their blessings. These dignitaries included Swami Devanand Saraswati Maharaj of Prabhu Harinath temple in Haridwar along with Prof. Vilas Athavale (Younger brother of H.H. Dr. Jayant Athavale, Founder of Sanatan Sanstha), Swami Muktanand Puri Maharaj of Haridwar, and Swami Vivekanand Saraswati. On this occasion, Swami Devanand Saraswati and Swami Muktanand Puri Maharaj offered a donation of Rs. 1,100 each, and Swami Vivekanand Saraswati Maharaj donated Rs. 500.

Swami Devanand Saraswati Maharaj : The activities of Sanatan Sanstha are extremely praiseworthy, and other religious organisations and sects should start such a mission by imbibing inspiration form these activities. The sanskars as advised by ancient Sages are performed by everyone, but considering present social set up, the wealth of Holy texts produced by Sanatan Sanstha will prove more inspirational for the younger generation. Other religious organisations should come forward without any reservations for assisting this mission. Only such action will ensure the reestablishment of Hindu Nation.

Swami Muktanand Puri Maharaj : When I visited this exhibition, I had an experience of visiting Divine region. Human mind is filled with shad-ripu (The six foes or defects of the embodied soul: attachment, pride, anger, envy, passion and greed) and various personal defects. To become a gentleman by converting them into better attributes can be learnt from this exhibition.  

Some of the Hindus who have turned foes of Hindu Dharma are ignorant about spiritual Knowledge, whereas some have become slaves to power, wealth, and publicity. Therefore, in such a situation, those who perform actions by getting attached to pious organisation like Sanatan Sanstha are the most fortunate. All the seekers of Sanstha deserve Divine grace in the true sense. There is only one individual in thousands, who gets attached to such pious organisation.  You yourselves should get awakened first, and then awaken the nation, the world, and the entire living beings by making them aware about the expansiveness of Hindu Dharma. Hindu Dharma is getting attacked from all sides. Personal loyalty has gained such a strength that the daring to reject actual God is evident nowadays. In such an environment, I pray unto Holy feet of God that the culture of Hindu Dharma be protected and nourished through the medium of this exhibition of pictures; I offer gratitude for the mission of Sanatan Sanstha.
