Worship after 59 years in Katasraj Temple in Pak

Yamunanagar: A three-day worship is being organised from Feburary 14, 2007 in the Pak-based Hindu temple Katasraj, the first time after 59 years.

The Union government has accorded permission to the Hindu pilgrims for visiting Katasraj from February 14 to 21, 2007.
The Pakistan government has spent a huge fund on the renovation of the temple and recently an official of Pakistan archaeological department have visited India for searching the antique idols of Katasraj.
According to Shiv Prata Bajaj president Sanatan Dharm Sabha (North India) and convenor of the Katasraj yatra, 200 pilgrims from all over country will visit Katasraj and perform worship on the eve of "Maha Shivratri".
Bajaj said that the Pakistan government would extend all cooperations to Hindu pilgrims on this occasion.
