Malaysian Hindu temple receives ISO certification

Mumbai: Sree Sundarraja Perumal temple at Kallong, Malaysia has been awarded ISO certificate for outstanding management and social work. The Trustees of the temple have informed that it is the first time that such certificate has been awarded to a religious centre in the world.

Sree Sundarraja temple acquiring the ISO 9001:2000 certificate has undertaken many charitable activities like extending aids to schools, orphanages, religious programs along with other cultural and religious projects. The temple is 100 years old and the certificate has been conferred for excellent management, informed Shri. S. Ananda Krushnan, the Chairman of the Trust.
