#DGH_Conf_Agenda_Hinduphobia trends as Hindus unmask their Hinduphobic agenda

There is a current world wide trend of vilifying Hindu Dharma, Hindutva and to show them as violent and regressive. The Dismantling Global Hindutva conference that was held from 10th to 12th September is a part of this world wide conspiracy. Many Hindu organizations, thinkers and Hindus from across the globe had voiced their concerns and opposition to this conference. The organisers of the conference claimed that the conference was not ‘against Hindu Dharma’. However the points stated by the various panellists paint a different picture – that the whole point of the conference was to incite hate against Hindus and Hindu Dharma.

To create awareness among masses, Hindus took to Twitter to unmask Hinduphobic agenda of organisers of DGH conference. More than 15,000 tweets were tweeted with hashtag #DGH_Conf_Agenda_Hinduphobia. It soon became one of top 10 national trends on Twitter in India due to encouraging participation of Hindus. It was on 2nd spot for brief period of time and was in top 5 for several hours.
