Report of online webinar on ‘Dabholkar’s murder case : Facts and Distortion !’

Inquiry should be made to find out reasons for taking investigations in Dr. Dabholkar’s murder case in a particular direction ! – Advocate Virendra Ichalkaranjikar

Pune Police arrested Khandelwal and Nagori after Dr. Dabholkar’s murder on 20th August 2013. Later, the investigations were handed over to CBI and they found Sarang Akolkar and Vinay Pawar as accused in this case; while Dr. Virendrasingh Tawade was supposed to be the mastermind. The eyewitnesses were also presented. Then in 2018, the same CBI officers started saying that Sachin Andhure and Sharad Kalaskar shot down Dr. Dabholkar and Sarang Akolkar and Vinay Pawar were not involved. What kind of investigations are these? Nobody is talking about the reliability of these investigations. The accused in this case are not granted bail. Dr. Tawade is still in jail. Investigations have not at all been carried out properly in this case. In fact, inquiry should be made to find out the reasons for Dr. Dabholkar’s murder case being conducted in a particular direction, demanded advocate Virendra Ichalkaranjikar, the national President of ‘Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad’ during the online special discussions organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on the topic of ‘Dr. Dabholkar’s murder case: facts and distortion’. The program was watched by more than 12000 people.

Advocate Ichalkaranjikar said further that the investigating agencies have caused everything to go astray in the Dabholkar murder case and it will be proved in the Court. We hope, the way 6 seekers of Sanatan Sanstha were acquitted in the Madgaon case, similar will be the outcome even in this case.

Mr Sunil Ghanavat, the State Coordinator of HJS for Maharashtra said that several financial misappropriations in the Trust operated by Dabholkar, who was said to be a rationalist, have been exposed by HJS. Such official records have been made by inspectors, superintendent and assistant commissioner from Satara Charity Commissioner’s office. In fact, Avinash Patil, the Chief Executive of Dabholkar’s organisation has openly made allegations against the management of this Trust and against the family members of Dabholkar who have been trying to keep control over the Trust. It proves that the accusations made by us are also true. There should be in-depth investigations into the malpractices of ANiS and the government’s Administrator should be immediately appointed on this Trust.

Sanatan Sanstha’s national spokesperson Chetan Rajhans said that erstwhile ‘Manav Nastik Manch’ was given the present delusive name as ‘Andha-shraddha Nirmulan Samiti (ANiS)’ but the real propaganda of atheism is still going on through this organisation. They feel that Dharma is like an addiction. Their political inclinations are towards communism. They are Naxalites when they fight at a physical level and they become urban Naxalites when they fight at the ideological level; therefore, we want to appeal to people to keep away from their movements which have no base of Dharma.
