HJS demands to Stop cow-slaughter during ‘Ramzan Eid’ !

Maharashtra : Ramzan Id is on 20^th August 2012 and cow-slaughter is likely to take place on large scale. The Government should remain alert and prevent cow-slaughter. Squads should be deployed to keep a watch at various places and the guilty should be stringently punished. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) submitted representation to the above effect at different places in the State.

Mahatma Gandhi had also demanded to ban cow-slaughter; even then cow-slaughter is still going on openly; beef is even smuggled. There is displeasure amongst Hindus due to the Government’s indifference towards this issue. 

Positive response by Superintendent of Police (SP)

Sangli (Maharashtra) : Representation was submitted to Mr. Dilip Sawant, SP who responded positively to the demand and asked for possible places where such things could take place noting down the information. He said, “Police, in plain clothes, are keeping a vigil and I am also patrolling till 3.00 a.m. in the night. Police will take care and see to it that slaughtering did not take place.” Shortly after submission of the representation, Miraj city police called up activist of HJS and enquired about likely places.

Mr. Amol Patil of Shiv Sena from Kupwad, Mr. Chandrakant Sabnis of ‘Bharat Swabhiman Nyaas’, Mr. Shyam Vaidya and Mrs. Mangal Vaidya of ‘Patanjali Yoga Samiti’, Mr. Ankush Godse, Mahesh Tavare and Madhusudan Sarda  of ‘Bharateeya Go-vansh Raksha’, Mr. Ramchandra Mohite of ‘Panjarpol Sansthan’, Mr. Sachin Pawar, Mahesh Swami of Sree Shiva-Pratishthan, Mr. Vijay Hirlekar of Grahak Panchayat and Mr. Dattatreya Retharekar of HJS were present on the occasion. The representation has been signed by Mr. Sambhaji Pawar, BJP-MLA and Mr. Yuvaraj Bavadekar, deputy Mayor. Mr. Suresh Khade, another BJP-MLA promised to call up the Police and ask them to take necessary precaution.

Satara (Maharashtra) : A representation demanding deployment of police squad at places where cow-slaughter is likely to take place and stringent action against the guilty, was submitted to the District Collector by HJS and other like-minded organizations. Mr. Sonappa Yamgar, dy. District Collector accepted the representation.

Pune (Maharashtra) : During the period of ‘Ramzan’, incidents of cow-slaughter and smuggling of beef take place openly. Cow is revered by all Hindus. In the background of Eid, the Administration should see that incidents of cow-slaughter did not occur.  Help of local patrons of cow and ‘Gao-rakshaks’ can be sought for the same. A representation was submitted to the Tehsildar with the demand of sending police squads to places where cow-slaughter was likely to take place and stringent punishment to the guilty.

Hindu police ! If you protect Dharma, remember that Dharma (God) would protect you in the period of crisis !

District Police Chief says that ‘slaughtering takes place mainly on the occasion of ‘Bakri Eid’ !

Kolhapur (Maharashtra) : Along with the activists of HJS, Shivananda Swami , Mr. Banda Salokhe, District-chief of Bajarang Dal, Mr. Mahesh Ursal, BJP-District General Secretary, Mr. Sujeet Chavan of Hindu Ekata Andolan and other devout Hindus paid a visit to the office of District Police Chief (DCP) for submission of a representation on the above subject. DCP Vijaysingh Jadhav said, “Incidents of slaughtering mainly take place on the occasion of Bakri Id and not on Ramzan Eid.” (It means that Police have, in a way, accepted that slaughtering did take place even on Ramzan Eid. Why did they not think of taking action on their own? Cow-slaughtering is taking place regularly but Police Administration is taking no action; then what is the use of them? – Editor SP)

The devout Hindus then told the DCP not to do anything but just to inform them about such incidents. (Police neither want to do anything by themselves nor want Hindus to do anything in the matter. What action are the Police, who have become slaves of politicians appeasing Muslims, going to take for protection of cows? – Editor SP)
