‘Shivaba would be born in each house if every woman becomes like Rajmata Jijabai !’

‘Shivakanya Sanghatana’, Satara organises ‘Shaurya-jagruti’ lecture to commemorate Rajamata Jijau’s death anniversary !

Satara :Rajmata Jijau kept an ideal of valour before us in the form of Chhatrapati Shivaraya. We remember brave women like Rajmata Jijau, Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi, Ahilyabai Holkar, freedom fighter Preetilata Vaddedar whenever we think of valour. There is a combination of power, devotion and intelligence in the bravery exhibited by them. Rajmata Jijau impressed the importance of patriotism upon the mind of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj right from his childhood; she also gave him practical training of running the State. Shivaba will be born in each house if every Hindu woman becomes brave and abides by own Dharma like Jijau, stated Shri. Sumit Sagavekar, ‘Yuva Sanghatak’ of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) while speaking on the topic of ‘Shaurya-jagaran (awakening of valour)’ at ‘Shivakanya Sanghatana’, Satara on the occasion of death anniversary of Rajmata Jijau.

Demos on self-defence were shown through a video during the program which awakened valour in the viewers. The program was compeered by Kum. Priyanka Jadhav and Kum. Neha Kadam explained the purpose of holding such a lecture.

The participating young women showed interest in joining self-defence training classes after watching the demos; therefore, a 7-days training work-shop on ‘Shaurya-jagaran’ is going to be conducted soon.
