Online Special webinar on the topic of  ‘Need for Population Control’ !

Fifty percent of the problems of this country will be over if a stringent law is passed for controlling the population of this country ! – Ashwini Upadhyaya, advocate, Supreme Court

It is said that one should live or spend within one’s means; but India has already spent ten times more than what she has if we talk about her population. India has 2% of land compared to the land available in the world and has 4% potable water; but her population is 20%. The root cause of various problems faced by India related to water, forests, land and food, clothing, housing or even poverty, deaths due to hunger, unemployment; so also, problems related to increasing crimes are mainly due to the explosion of population. Any basic amenities created and provided by any government will fall short after a few years because of the increasing population. Fifty percent of the problems faced by this country would end if a stringent law is passed to control the population. The above views were expressed by Ashwini Upadhyaya, a Supreme Court advocate, during an online special discussions program held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) in the background of ‘International Population Day’. About 3000 people watched this program on the website of HJS i.e. Hindujagruti.org, besides its You-tube channel and Twitter account.

Advocate Upadhyaya said further that ‘the draft of ‘Population Control Act 2021’ prepared by me has been presented by BJP-MP Subramanyam Swami in the ‘Rajya-sabha (the Upper House of the Parliament)’. Now, the Union Government should immediately take a decision on the same. Until people with an excess number of children are not severely punished, the population cannot be brought under control.

Sadhvi Dr. Prachi, a devout Hindu leader said on the occasion that ‘all our resources are falling short due to increasing population; which we have experienced in the period of Corona pandemic. This law should have been passed much earlier. Today, when infiltrators like ‘Rohingya’ are driven out, the secular and leftists in this country start making hue and cry; but where were these people when millions of Kashmiri Hindus were displaced in their own country ? In the last 70 years, this country has been suffering because of allowing settlement of infiltrators and it is a disease like cancer affecting this country. Passing a law for controlling population will be like an operation for getting cured of this disease. I appeal to honourable Modi ji and honourable Amit Shah ji for passing such law at the earliest’.

Shri. Abhay Vartak, ‘Dharmapracharak’ of Sanatan Sanstha said that ‘Hindus have been following the policy of ‘Hum Do – Hamare Do (We two and our two children)’; but the minority community of this country has followed the policy of ‘Hun Panch- Hamare Pachhis (We 5 and our 25 children)’; therefore, their population has increased five times and its adverse effects are felt by the whole world. More than 225 MPs, more than 1000 MLAs, 5000 ‘Gram-Panchayat’ and 2.5 crore citizens have supported passing of such Act; even then, it has not been passed so far. There is, however, a large section of people in this country who do not abide by any laws; therefore, even if this Act is passed, it will have to be strictly implemented by the Government’, stated Shri. Vartak.
