Karnataka : Online training workshop for reporters conducted by Sanatan Sanstha and HJS

Mangaluru (Karnataka) – Today, journalism has become a very effective medium. Giving the right perspective to any information on every incident happening in society and not only to reach it to everyone but also to create awareness in them is very important. News should be prepared by keeping this perspective in mind as it will help in our ‘Samashti sadhana’. While sourcing news for periodicals of righteous ‘Sanatan Prabhat’, attention should also be paid to see that such news should have ‘sattvik’ and simple words which are easy to understand and are grammatically correct. When news is prepared by keeping the ‘bhav’ that we are offering a garland of beautiful words at Guru’s holy feet, it would be done as our ‘sadhana’. Every seeker needs to increase curiosity for gaining knowledge, learning attitude and observation in self. One should also have strong will power for preparing news based on any incident.  If it is done in this manner as ‘seva’, it will give happiness. Seekers should discard their apathy towards the ‘seva’ of preparing news and treat it as their duty to make news out of every incident, happening and program. Every seeker can be a good reporter by inculcating such qualities in ownself. The above guidance was given by Pujya Ramanand Gowda, ‘Dharmapracharak’ of Sanatan Sanstha while addressing an online workshop conducted jointly by Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for training on how to be good reporters. The workshop was held at State-level in Karnataka and many seekers attended the same.

Shri. Kashinath Prabhu and Sou. Manjula Gowda of Sanatan Sanstha spoke on the topic of spiritual practice and Shri. Mohan Gowda, the State Spokesperson and Coordinator of HJS explained about various attacks on nation and Dharma. Shri. Prashant Harihar guided on the topic of making extensive news.
