‘Bollywood constantly nourishes ‘Hindophobia’ and ‘Love Jihad’ : Payal Rohatgi

‘In Bollywood, they normally say ‘Inshaallah’; however, I have never heard somebody saying ‘Jai Shriram’. Khan congregations in Bollywood have indirectly promoted ‘love jihad’ by marrying Hindu women. Advertisements like ‘Tanishq’ and ‘Surf Excel’ are examples of ‘Love Jihad’. We must talk about ‘love jihad’. Hindus have got a good platform through this programme of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. People like Nasiruddin Shah say, ‘It feels good to live in Pakistan’. For these people, killing Hindus has no value. We have to expose their narrow-mindedness. Hindus in Bollywood are not proud of their Dharma. Bollywood has been constantly nourishing ‘Hindophobia’ and ‘Love Jihad’, said Payal Rohatgi, an actress in Hindi cinema. She was speaking in a special webinar organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti on the occasion of the murder of Nikita Tomar in Haryana due to ‘Love Jihad’. The topic of the webinar was’… and how many more Hindu sisters will be sacrificed on the altar of Love Jihad ?’ The event was viewed live by 32084 people on Facebook and YouTube, while it reached 65990 people.

On the occasion, the National Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Mr. Ramesh Shinde said, “If a Hindu girl falls in love with Muslim youth, it is OK. Then if the Hindu youth ‘Rahul Rajput’ is in love with a Muslim girl, why is he killed ? Where is your ‘secularism’ ? If Kareena Kapoor is married to Saif Ali Khan, then ‘Taimur’ will be born. If Hindus want Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the mother has to prove that she is Jijamata. All Hindus should come together to give justice to Nikita Tomar. There should be a ‘Nikita Act’ in the country to prevent love jihad”. Ms. Shruti O of Arsh Vidya Samaj of Kerala said, “There are more than 4,000 cases of love jihad in Kerala. We have brought back the girls who were trapped in ‘Love Jihad’ through a course on Dharma. Only education on Dharma can save girls from love jihad”. The Prant Mahamantri of ‘Hindu Helpline’ Mr. Binil Somasundaram said, “Love jihad is a strategy nourished by terrorists. The organisations like the Popular Front of India are active in it. The Kerala High Court has upheld the need for legislation to curb conversions through ‘love jihad’. Delhi High Court advocate Amita Sachdeva said, “The Muslim Personal Law Board has given the freedom to fanatics. So they have no fear of the law while indulging in ‘love jihad’. Prof. (Mrs.) Sandeep Kaur Munjal, Spokesperson of ‘Ranaragini’ branch of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti in Delhi said, “I have been a professor for 30 years. Fanatic students indulge in ‘love jihad’; however, Hindu parents do not know about ‘Love Jihad’. This suits the religious fanatics.
