#Reclaim_KrishnaJanmabhoomi becomes top trend as Hindus demand reclaimation of temples

The Mathura District Court on 12 October summoned all Court records with respect to the Shrikrishna Janmabhoomi Case. The Court of District Judge has posted the matter for hearing on October 16, 2020.

The order has come in a civil appeal preferred by ‘Bhagwan SriKrishna Virjman’, through next friend Ranjana Agnihotri, ‘Shree Krishna Janmbhoomi’—the place of birth of Lord Shree Krishna and six devotees, against the order of Civil Judge, Mathura, dismissing the suit for removal of Masjid Idgah, allegedly built on the land of Shrikrishna Janmabhoomi.

Reacting to this new development, Hindus took to Twitter to demand reclaimation of thousands of Hindu temples such as Mathura and Kashi temple. Many also demanded scrapping of The Places Of Worship Act, which is an obstacle in the path of reclaimation of our temples. More than 45,000 tweets were tweeted with hashtag #Reclaim_KrishnaJanmabhoomi and the trend was top national trend on Twitter in India for few hours.
