Money earned through ‘Halal’ certification is being used for terrorist activities : Manoj Khadye

Awareness about Halal certificate created amongst industrialists, traders and distributors through lecture

Nipani (Dist. Belgaum) : Funds raised through ‘Halal’ certification are used for terrorist activities. A lecture was organized for creating awareness towards this issue on 10th March at Valmiki Samaj Mandir by Shri. Manoj Khadye, Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for Gujarat State, Konkan region and western Maharashtra. Good response was received to the lecture from traders, industrialists and distributors.

Shri. Kiran Duse of HJS first explained various activities undertaken by HJS and Shri. Jugalkishore Vaishnav did compeering of the program.

Highlights

1. Shri. Vinod Magdum, President of Traders’ Association said after the lecture, “Let us create awareness amongst maximum number of people.”

2. Shri. Tushar Mali, a distributor said on learning of the subject that he immediately checked all products he had and those with ‘Halal’ certification were returned to the concerned companies; instructing them not to send such products in future.
