Dhule : Presently, Indian Muslims have started demanding everything which is approved under Islam i.e. ‘Halal’ for which it has become necessary to get ‘Halal’ certificate for every product. Thus Islamic i.e. ‘Halal’ economy has been introduced very shrewdly in secular India. Surprisingly, even in Government undertakings like Railway, Air-India etc ‘Halal’ certification has become necessary. Muslims, who are 15% in this country, want to eat only ‘Halal’ meat as approved under Islam; therefore, it has been imposed on even 85% of non-Muslim population of this country. Now, ‘Halal’ certification has not remained limited to meat but has been extended even to other eatables, cosmetics, medicines, hospitals, housing societies, malls etc. ‘Halal’ certificate has been made mandatory for those who are exporting products to Islamic countries. This ‘Halal’ economy has created a kind of awe all over the world and it has crossed limit of US $ 2 trillion which is equal to Indian economy. When a parallel economy is created, it certainly affects various systems of the country and here, a parallel economy is created based on religion, stated Shri. Ramesh Shinde, the national spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) while addressing a program held by HJS on 26th January at ‘Kanha Residency’.

Similar program was also held at Malegaon and at Sardar Vallabh bhai Patel Bhavan, Jalgaon on 27th January. Shri. Ramesh Shinde explained the alarming effect of ‘Halal Certification’, giving examples. Large number of businessmen, traders, devout Hindu activists attended these programs. Few traders showed interest in joining the drive for creating awareness towards this financial jihad. People got their doubts clarified after the lectures and made a resolve to take action with unity in this matter.
