Training on identifying adulteration in milk and other food products should be included in school curriculum !

Representation submitted to ‘Vidya Pradhikaran’ by ‘Arogya Sahayya Samiti (Samiti)’

Pune : Under aegis of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), ‘Arogya Sahayya Samiti (Samiti)’ submitted memorandum to Shri. Dinakar Patil, Director of ‘Maharashtra Rajya Shaikashanik Sanshodhan and Prashikshan Parishad (Vidya Pradhikaran)’. It has been demanded through the memorandum that training course on identifying adulteration in milk and other food items should be introduced in school curriculum. Shri. Vidyadhar Naragolkar explained about this drive to Shri. Patil so also its other drives of HJS undertaken for taking up various social issues. Shri. Patil appreciated the drive and suggested to give a copy of the memorandum to Director of ‘Balbharati’. He promised to keep the memorandum during their meeting for discussions.

The memorandum was submitted by Shri. Vidyadhar Naragolkar, President of ‘Pune Sarvajanik Sabha’, Dr. Nilesh Lonkar of ‘Savarkar Vichar Manch’, Shri. Sachin Bansode, a devout Hindu and Shri. Samrat Deshpande and Shri. Krushnaji Patil of HJS. Similar memorandum was also submitted to Shri. Vivek Gosavi, Director of Balbharati’s Maharashtra State Text Book publishing committee, Pune. It was accepted by Shri. T. N. Mali, personal assistant Secretary of the Director. He said, “Demand made in the memorandum was right but suggesting students from primary schools to use cell phones for collecting information from websites was wrong. We shall see how it can be included in the curriculum and will contact you in case of need.”
