Pujya Sri Sri Ravishankar blesses the HJS

Mumbai: The founder of the 'Art of Living' Pujya Sri Sri Ravi Shankar (Swamiji) has given his blessings to the activities of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). HJS Maharashtra State Spokesperson Shri. Ramesh Shinde and the Mumbai Region Convener Shri. Shivaji Vatkar met Swamiji on the 20th November in Mumbai, wherein He conveyed His blessings. Swamiji further said that He knew about the HJS' activities and appreciated the same. He also said that, the HJS should continue to create awareness among the masses.

At this time, Shri. Ramesh Shinde, while briefing Swamiji about the HJS activities said that the HJS has adopted modern methods for the spread of Hindu religious education. It prepares and circulates Video CD's of DharmaSatsang (Workshops imparting education about Righteousness among Hindus) in the society. Shri. Shinde also informed Swamiji about the campaigns undertaken by the HJS against the 'Anti-Superstition Act' and the 'Temple Takeover Act' with a view to make the society aware of anti-Hindu activities being undertaken by the Maharashtra Government. On this occasion, Swamiji was also shown sattvik pictures of deities drawn by seekers of the Sanatan Sanstha.
