Public Ganesh festival committees from Goa which are active in drives for protection of nation !
Panaji : Many public Ganesh festival committees are committed to the cause of protection of nation. ‘Char Rasta Ganesh Mandal’ and ‘Rajbag Tarir Ganesh Mandal’ in Canacona taluka have displayed boards prepared by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on valuable information on revolutionaries and their activities.
4 flex-boards have been displayed at Char Rasta Ganesh Mandal and 7 flex-boards have been displayed at Rajbag Tarir Ganesh Mandal. One of the boards has picture of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj pulling out guts of Afzal Khan. Shri. Ajay Bhagat, an office bearer of Char Rastra Ganesh Mandal said that flex-boards made by HJS give right guidance to people. They create awareness amongst people. Shri. Deepak Pagi of Rajbag Tarir Ganesh Committee said that such boards were giving valuable knowledge to students and were very useful.
