Representation submitted at Malkapur regarding Ganesh festival

Anti-Dharma concepts like artificial water tank and donation of Shri Ganesh idols should not be promoted ! – Representation submitted at Malkapur

Kolhapur : As per religious customs and traditions, immersion of Shri Ganesh idols during the period of Ganesh festival in flowing water should be continued. Anti-Dharma concepts like artificial water tanks and donation of idols should not be promoted, was the demand made through representation submitted with the initiative of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on 29th August to Municipal Officer A. K. Patil of Malkapur. Twenty persons including members of ‘Paurohitya Sanghatana’, Shiv Sena’s municipal councilor Sou. Maya Patil, ‘Janasurajya’ Party’s municipal councilor Shri. Vikas Deshmane, Shri. Charudatta Potdar, Shri. Ramesh Padval, Shri. Jitendra Pundit, Shri. Vasant Joshi, Shri. Ravindra Joshi, Shri. Pradip Pawar, Shri. Mansingh Desai; besides activists of HJS and seekers of Sanatan Sanstha were present for submitting representation.
