Meeting of public Ganesh festival committees at Sonagir (Dhule) and Amalner (Jalgaon)

Dhule : For increasing sanctity of festivals, for exchanging of experiences and for finding solutions with local administrations to problems faced by public festival committees, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) held a meeting of public festival committees at Sonagir (Dhule), Amalner (Jalgaon) and at Nandurbar.

The meeting was started with garlanding statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and lighting of lamp. Shri. Sachin Vaidya spoke on the topic of ‘How to celebrate public festivals in ideal manner?’ Kum. Rageshree Deshpande explained about things required to be done for celebrating festivals in ideal manner; drives which can be undertaken for this purpose and importance of festivals for establishing Hindu Rashtra. CD on celebrating Ganesh festival in ideal manner was also shown on the occasion.

Assistant Police Inspector (API) Khedkar said, “HJS activities are very good. Arrange to show this CD to people.” He also spoke about preventing malpractices happening during festival period and the concept of ‘One Village, one Ganapati’. Ten Ganesh festival committees participated in the meeting.

Amalner (Jalgaon)

Meeting was held at Pachpavali Mandir, Amalner for public festival committees. Shri. Sachin Vaidya explained ideal way of celebrating Ganesh festival, purpose and background of celebrations. Shri. Pankaj Bagul explained way in which every committee could set an example before people of their ‘Mandal’ by celebrating festival in ideal manner. Members of festival committees attending the meeting responded positively to HJS. The program was organized by Shri. Shivakiran Borase, Shri. Vinod Joshi, Shri. Suresh Chaudhari and Shri. Bhaiya Shete, local devout Hindus.
