Amalner : Representation submitted to administration by Hindu organizations

Representation being submitted to Regional Officer Seema Ahirarao– 1. Shirish Chaudhari, MLA and devout Hindu activists

Jalgaon : Representation was submitted to Regional Officer Seema Ahirarao of Amalner for demands such as pipes used for filling fuel at petrol-pumps should be transparent and increase in charges levied on participating in Shri Mata Vaishnodevi’s ‘aarti’ should be immediately cancelled.

It has been stated in the representation that

1. Petrol-diesel are necessities in life like other things required for daily use. People are cheated at petrol –pumps at most of the places as adulterated and less petrol is supplied. No stringent action is taken even after lodging complaints about such incidents; therefore, severe action should be taken against the guilty in such cases.

2. ‘Aarti’ is performed near ancient cave of Shri Mata Vaishnodevi every morning and evening. Every devotee participating in this ‘aarti’ had to pay Rs.1000/- for the same till now but Shri Mata Vaishnodevi Shrine Board has recently taken a decision to double these charges i.e. to Rs.2000/-. There is actually no need to charge devotees for ‘aarti’ and the Board should pay attention to provide proper facilities to devotees and stop looting Hindus, is the demand made through this representation.

Devout Hindu activists including local MLA, Shri. Shirish Chaudhari; Shri. Vineet bhau Joshi of ‘Purohit Sangh’; Shri. Kiran Borase, Shri. Mayur Chaudhari; Bajarang Dal’s District Coordinator Shri. Ashish Dusane, Shri. Hitesh Narkhede; VHP’s Shri. Kiran Kumbhar and activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti were present on the occasion.
