Representation submitted by HJS to the Government at Yavatmal

Impose ban immediately on ‘Porn Sites’ and ‘Web series’ which are full of vulgarity and violence !

Yavatmal : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) submitted a representation to District Collector’s office on 29th March for forwarding the same to Union Information and Broadcasting Minister, New Delhi with demands such as ban should be immediately imposed on various ‘Porn Sites’ easily available to today’s small children and youth on cell phones; so also on ‘Web series’ which are full of vulgar scenes and violence; adverse effects of making available inter-net at public places should be stopped. Shri. Chandrashekhar Kumbhalkar, administrative officer at District Collector’s office accepted the representation from HJS. He too expressed concern over this serious problem and said, “Parents have become helpless due to such problem. We shall convey your feelings to the Government.”

Shri. Milind Thosar, social activist and activists of HJS were present on the occasion. Other demands made through the representation were taking stringent action against persons adulterating milk and playing with people’s health and bringing transparency in rules related to filling fuel in vehicles on petrol pumps.
