Dhule : Idols, pictures of Deities and photos of Saints thrown under trees and in temple area; so also near river were collected and immersed in water by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) with the help of local devout Hindus. Damaged idols kept outside temples of Kalika Mata, Panchmukhi Hanuman and Ganapati were immersed at ‘Hatti Doha’ by HJS activists and devout Hindus viz. Shri. Sachin Vaidya, Shri. Pankaj Bagul, Shri. Darshan Bagul, Shri. Santosh Marathe, Shri. Bhushan Bagul, Shri. Aniruddha Kulkarni, Shri. Shekhar Kulkarni, Shri. Punit Varade, Shri. Sachin Varade, Shri. Gopal Sharma, Shri. Bhaiya Mali, Shri. Pravin Dadape, Shri. Ganesh Dadape, Shri. Sanjay Deore, Shri. Sagar Joshi, Shri. Pritesh Agrawal, Shri. Bhushan Dhashapute, Shri. Chetan Jagtap, Shri. J. B. Modi, Shri. Dilip Kulkarni etc. as they tried to impart ‘Dharmashikshan’ through this drive.
HJS and all devout Hindus have made an appeal to all Hindus from Dhule to immerse idols and photographs of Deities and Saints in such manner and prevent their denigration.
