Prayagraj (Kumbhanagari) : ‘Shaastra Dharma Prachar Sabha (SDPS)’, a pro-Hindu organization from Bengal held a seminar at Kumbhanagari on 2nd February, on the topic of ‘Varnashram’. Shri. Shravan Sen, a member of SDPS first did introduction. Later in his guidance, Sadguru (Dr.) Charudatta Pingale, national Guide of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) said that the 4 ‘Varnas’ are parts of body of ‘Virat Purush’. Different ‘Varnas’ and ‘Ashram’ are provided under Sanatan Dharma for God realization. The purpose of this system is merging with God. Spiritual progress leads to human being going beyond ‘Varnas’. Earlier in ‘Satya-Yuga’, there was only ‘Hansa-Varna’ i.e. everyone was in ‘Soham bhav (God is me)’. ‘Varna-vyavastha’ came into existence as spiritual level diminished. Seekers living spirituality should have the goal to go beyond ‘Varna’ with spiritual practice for accomplishing their goal. Dr. Shivanarayan Sen, General Secretary of SDPS and ‘Param Pujya’ Shriniwas Prapannacharya also addressed the seminar.
