Kolhapur (Maharashtra): A ‘starred’ question will be raised in the forthcoming session of the Legislative Assembly (LA) about the insult of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the history text book devised by National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT) with a demand to withdraw the book as done in the State of Goa and set a new text book. ‘Maharashtra Narbali, Yaun-shoshan, Amanavi and Aghori Krutya Bill 2010’ will also be opposed in the LA session. The above assurance was given by Mr. Rajesh Kshirsagar, the Shiv Sena MLA to the delegation of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS)

Save temples from Anti-Hindus
Temples are the centres of Hindu Dharma. Anti Hindu forces like Muslims, Congress, Christians has constantly targetted them. HJS is fighting against these forces.
NCERT Textbook Controversy
The curriculum of NCERT is often riddled with controversies. They publish History textbooks in which Bhagat Singh is called as ‘Terrorist’ and they give priority to Mughal Kings instead Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
